For most paving and outdoor living companies in the UK, the answer to this question is: buy two, use one, redirect the other. Beyond that, you're spending money without a meaningful return.

The Two That Actually Matter for UK Paving Companies

First: .co.uk — this is your primary domain. It's the address you put on everything: your van, your quotes, your Google Business profile, your business cards, your social media bios. It's the UK standard for local trade businesses, it carries geographic trust with UK customers, and it signals to Google that you're a UK-based operation serving UK customers.

Second: .com — this is your backup. Register it, set it to redirect automatically to your .co.uk, and then never think about it again. The reason to own it is simple: prevent brand confusion.
